Histologic Features
- A proliferation of lobulated closely packed small uniform cells characterized by
- Oval vesiculated nuclei, small nucleoli and scanty vacuolated cytoplasm
- Formation of necrotic tumor cells into solid sheets
- Focal cellular distortion into elongated string-like structures
- A large number of blood vessels with tumor cells attached in a linear fashion
- Scattered basophilic small round cells resembling lymphocytes
